Arresting every opposing thought.

June 29, 2015

Taking captive every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Why would God tell us that we need to arrest (bring captive) our thoughts? 2Cor 10:5
We have to be alert and never identify with a thought that the enemy throws at us. We need to walk in the spirit all the time, that way we won’t be caught in identifying with the negative thought. We quickly acknowledge it does not come from us and reject it, and fight it and also change it. We bind it and replace it with God’s word about the thought’s theme. Choose to align with God’s word on that matter. This way we put out the thought that we knew was not ours. Acknowledge it’s not you, not from you, put it out, make it captive, tie it arresting it and bringing it to God’s throne and if you need to visualize the whole process, do it.
And you go in line with God’s word and God’s thoughts.
